Invitations

As we are not sending save the date, we had to send our invitations early. We decided at the beginning of the planning that we were going to print our own invitations. Rich is good at using photoshop/in design... and we needed the wording to be in 2 languages.

So one night we came up with the design. I had seen an invitation with a map of the place the couple was getting married, with the means of transportation, and really loved it. Also, I wanted to show that people were coming from all over and decided to represented it by lines of planes (1 city is the hub and all the lines go to this hub? hard to explain...)

So we drew a map of Brittany including the major cities, and added lines of planes and 1 train around Rennes. Here was the result after taking hours to get the good green. Of course that one looks aweful on the computer, but nice once printed! We also took the heart as our symbol.
